Christmas Parade Once again, the Kilmarnock Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Christmas parade on Friday night, December 14th, 2007 according to the following time schedule: Line up time - 4:30PM to 5:45PM Judging - 5:45PM to 6:30PM Parade kick off (start time) - 7:00 PM The theme is "Home for the Holidays" Press here for an application. You need to have Adobe Reader, a free program you can obtain at Adobe. Parde route will run down Main Street, turn right on Irvington Road, turn right on School Street to Lancaster Middle School. Chamber parade workers will be stationed in the Chesapeake Commons shopping mall and you can call cell 804-435-1342 for assistance. Rules: Santa should NOT be used as part of your float No candy or object can be thrown from floats or vehicles. You may have somone walk and hand out candy or other items. No one under age 16 can drive any type of entry No sirens or horns during the parade Parade entries should be 95% completed before entering the line-up with the exception of final touches All questions and final determination are made by Rebecca Light at MDAssociates, Box 2080, Kilmarnock, VA 22482. Major exceptions to chamber standards, rules, and application requirements should be presented to Rebecca in writing.
